At SnapReceipt, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your data.
SnapReceipt is designed as a "Local First" application. We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal identification information (PII).
All receipt images, extracted text, and financial data are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your receipts to our servers for storage or profiling.
When you use the AI Smart Scan feature, receipt images are processed via Google Vertex AI (Firebase) to extract semantic information. This data is used only for the immediate extraction and is not stored by us beyond the duration of the request.
We use RevenueCat for managing subscriptions and Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage statistics to improve the app. Neither service receives your receipt images or financial details.
You can delete your data at any time by deleting individual receipts within the app or by uninstalling the application.
